In this talk, Eric will weave together insights from Han dynasty classical Chinese medicine texts, ecological and botanical information, and his own clinical and personal experiences to unravel the mysteries of 5 iconic Chinese herbs. Anybody with an interest in Chinese herbs will walk away with something of value from this talk; you need come prepared only with a sense of wonder.

About the speaker: Eric Grey, MSOM, LAc is founder of Watershed Community Wellness in Ladd’s Addition, founder of Deepesthealth.com and an adjunct faculty member at NUNM, teaching Chinese herbs lab and Chinese-medicine practice management. He has always been fascinated by the world of plants, growing up in the forests of Idaho, and moving to the lush beauty of the Willamette Valley in 1995. He is privileged to count Heiner Fruehauf and Arnaud Versluys among his mentors, and encourages the resurgence of classical Chinese medical thinking in the United States.
