The Body Remembers: Stress, Trauma and Botanical Intervention

We will follow the physiological path of stress and emotional trauma in the body, and gain an understanding of how the body carries its experiences of the world. This review of trauma and stress will give clinicians insight into working with traumatized individuals and offer useful clinical interventions, both botanical and communicative.
Lydia Anne M Bartholow is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, practicing at the Amenda Clinic in Northeast Portland. Prior to becoming a nurse, Lydia studied and practiced Western Clinical Herbalism, allowing her to balance and incorporate the best clinical practices from nursing, psychiatry and herbalism.
