Join herbalist and Wilderness First Responder Greta de la Montagne for an intensive workshop on herbal first aid. The weekend class will cover first-line therapies for conditions ranging from heat exhaustion and parasitic infections to sprains and panic attacks. We will cover plant identification, wildcrafting and plant-collecting ethics, herbal first-aid kit ingredients, and give you hands-on experience with techniques such as wound poulticing, sprain management and heat exhaustion. Learn the top remedies for your first-aid kit, easy-to-find medicinal weeds, and the basics of how to set up and manage an off-grid, pop-up herbal first aid or wellness clinic.
This class also will be available via live webinar. (See details and requirements here.)
