Introduction to Permaculture

January 30, 2015, 6:00 pm8:00 pm

Permaculture is a design system, based in nature, that can be applied to develop sustainable human settlements. This whole systems approach is used to design integrated landscapes that provide ecological functions and yields for humans. We can enhance habitat for other species, heal the earth’s systems, and cultivate to meet human needs by applying permaculture design on a given site in appropriate ways. In this evening presentation, Marisha Auerbach will introduce participants to the permaculture concept and how it can be applied in their lives.
